Fernando Deus Gomes

Gomes, Fernando Deus - passed away peacefully on Thursday December 12, 2024 at his home in Norval. Fernando was 95 years young, and husband of the late Francesca Gomes (1999). Loving father of daughter Toni Skinner and son in law Malcolm Skinner. Beloved grandpa of Johnathan and Nicole. Dear brother of the late Alvaro Gomes. Fernando was very proud of his work as an Engineer for McDonnell Douglas. Over the years, Fernando enjoyed family gatherings, gardening, painting landscapes and watching home improvement shows and cooking shows. Fernando was very independent and will be forever remembered by his family for the love that he had for them, especially his grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown (905) 877-3631 on Friday from 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday December 21, 2024 at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery, Norval.
