ALBERT, Fedora Marie (nee Godin)- It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Fedora Albert. Weeks away from her 98th birthday, after a long and courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her family, in the early morning on September 12th, 2022, passed away peacefully at home. Fedora was predeceased by her loving husband Adalbert (2011). Left to mourn are her children; Kenneth (Mary), Clarence (Susan Gregory), Rose (Real Lajeunesse), Helene Michaud (the late Jocelyn), Denis (Patricia), Janine (Denis Barrette), Emelia, Desneige (Dino Arsenault), Marcel (Donna Gunn), Claude (Lynee Reilly), Robert (Bernice) and Richard. Predeceased by Rosella and Irene. She will be sadly missed by her son in law Bernard Girouard, and all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Fedora, will forever be remembered for her devotion to her family. Her legacy she leaves behind is the gift of her devout Catholic faith. Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd., Georgetown 905-877-3631 on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Prayers will be held at 8:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church 14400 Argyll Rd., Georgetown on Friday September 16th, at 10:30 am. Interment Greenwood Cemetery, Georgetown.
