Evelyn Mildred Allan

Evelyn Allan (nee Hoffman), 95 of Georgetown ON died peacefully in her sleep on December 21st, 2019 at Dufferin Oaks long term care home in Shelburne after a long road with Alzheimers. Evelyn was born to Fred and Annie (Fitz) Hoffman on December 1, 1924 in Chapman County, ON and married her love Henry Allan in June of 1955. They were married 33 years until his death in 1988. Evelyn was a deeply loved mother and grandmother, and is survived by her only son Gordon Allan (Shelley) of Erin, ON and granddaughters; Jenna and Brittany. A devoted sister, she was predeceased by her siblings Bill, Ted, Ronnie, Ab, Dorothy, Laura, Marion, Marg, and Gloria and is survived by her siblings Gordon, Vicky, Gerald and Carmen. She will be greatly missed by all. The funeral service and reception will be held at Jones Funeral Home on December 28 at 11:00am. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:30am-11am. Burial at Greenwood Cemetery will follow the service. Memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Society or Dufferin Oaks Long Term Care Home would be appreciated.
