It is with great sadness that her family announces the passing of Eva Gill, on Sunday, March 9th, 2014 at Extendicare Nursing Home, Georgetown. Eva, in her 93rd year, wife of the late Arnold Gill, loving mother of Terry and his wife Sharon of Burlington, Denise Shepherd and her husband Barry of Georgetown, David and his partner Monique of Erin and Wayne and his wife Barbara of Glen Williams. Loved Nan of Todd and his wife Naomi, Mark and his wife Angie, Tracey, Andrea and her husband Greg, and Jacob and Great-Nan of Blake, Madison, Jordyn, Kieran, Brynna, Alida and Jade. Predeceased by her sisters Lily, Ada and Enid and her brothers Wilfred, Walter and Leonard. Friends will be received at the J. S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd., North of Maple Avenue, Georgetown (905-877-3631) on Sunday, March 16th, at 2:00 PM until time of funeral service at 3:00 PM. Reception to follow in the Trafalgar Room. If desired, in lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy to the Georgetown Hospital or Sick Kids Hospital would be appreciated.
