Esther Mable Nagy
Peacefully passed away at Oakville Trafalgar Hospital on Sunday, October 5, 2025, in her 81st year.Beloved wife of the late Bela Nagy, with whom she shared 44 years of love and laughter. Cherished mother of Bela (Rosa), Frank, and Angela (David Carey). Adored grandmother to James, Ryan, Brandon, Caleb, Frank Jr., Jessica, Sylvia, Nadia, Ryan, and Nicholas and great grandmother to Kayleb, Riley, Mckenzie, James III, Marissa-Ainsley, Hunter, Piper, Titus, Alex, Harley, Skylar, Jaxon, and Mavis.Esther had a big heart and an even bigger sense of humor. She cared deeply — for family, for friends, and for complete strangers. Her empathy was boundless, her laugh infectious, and her spirit unshakably stubborn. She loved games (especially when she was winning — and yes, she cheated at Monopoly), long drives through the countryside, the beauty of nature, and the joy of travelling, right up until her body could no longer keep up with her adventurous heart.A collector of memories (and many, many things), Esther saw value in everything and everyone. She lived fully, loved fiercely, and never lost her sense of fun.A celebration of Esther’s life will be held at her favourite spot, The St. George Pub, 7 Main Street N., Georgetown, on Saturday, November 1, 2025 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Come raise a glass, share a story, and remember a life lived with warmth, wit, and a little bit of mischief. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
