Evans, John Ernest- Peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday October 18th, 2019 at the Georgetown Hospital. Ernie, in his 69th year, beloved husband of Janice for 43 years. Loving father of Jeffrey (Terry) and Michael (Samantha). Devoted grandfather of Alexia and Carter. Predeceased by his parents Elsie and John Evans. Dear son-in-law of Doris Muise and the late Phillip Muise. Dear brother-in-law of Mariann (the late Edward Priaulx). Dear uncle of Joe (Shannon) and Jason (Rachel) Priaulx. Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd., N., Georgetown 905-877-3631 on Thursday from 7:00 -9:00 p.m. Funeral and committal service will be held in the chapel on Friday October 25th, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Trafalgar Room.
