Erich Manniste

Manniste, Erich - It is with sorrow that the family of Erich Manniste announces his passing at the Georgetown Hospital, Georgetown, on Sunday, July 28th, in his 95th year. Erich leaves behind his wife of 71 years, Helgi Manniste, his children Margit, Vaike (Roy), Eneli (David), Andres (Lynn), Virve (Robert) , Tiina (David), Kalli (David) and Linda (John), his 19 grandchildren and his 15 great grandchildren. Erich and Helgi brought their three young daughters to Canada as refugees from the Soviet occupation of their home country Estonia. They made their home in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario where their remaining children were born and where they raised their family. Funeral service 2:00 p.m. Thursday August 1st at the J.S. Jones &Son Funeral Home, Georgetown, Halton Hills 905-877-3631. Interment will be at a later date in Estonia.
He will be missed.
