Eric William Fuller

d. December 9, 2015

Fuller, Eric William- Peacefully on Wednesday December 9th, 2015 at the Georgetown Hospital. Eric will be remembered by his family and friends for many reasons but will be missed most for his love of his extended family and sense of humour. Eric's early life was in Manchester, England where he served on his uncle's trawler in the North Sea, as well as serving in the British Army at Dortmund Germany. Eric started his long career at KODAK in Manchester which is also home to his beloved Man United Soccer Team. Eric was also proud to have his brother Bill playing along side of him on the KODAK team. Eric emigrated to Canada in 1971 and began working at KODAK Canada shortly after his arrival until he retired in 1997. While living in Milton Eric enjoyed spending time with his children as well as playing darts, squash and soccer (bringing some British know how to the game.) He was not a fan of winter but he certainly became a fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs. Eric stayed active in the community and was very proud to be a member of the St. John's United Church choir. After retiring Eric pursued his love of golf at the Calerin, Acton, and Summerville S.C. golf courses. He was the instigator of the Sellors Family Annual Golf Tournament and much to his chagrin his name was not on that trophy after 30 years. Eric's life will be remembered as active, thoughtful, charitable and full of laughter. Beloved husband of Catherine (nee Sellors). Loving father of Sara (Tim Woodburn), Carrie (Robert House), Andrew Fuller and Erin Fuller. Proud Pa of Sloan House and Helena Fuller-Vasques. Dear brother of Joyce (Harry Thomason), Pauline Horan, Bill (Marian) Fuller, Ken (Josie) Fuller and his sister-in-law Sylvia Fuller. Predeceased by his father and mother Wilf and Helen Fuller; siblings Bob Fuller and Marjorie Randels and brother-in-law Bill Horan. Eric will be missed by his father-in-law Joe Sellors (the late Alice Sellors), his brother's and sister's-in law Linda (Jim) McLaughlin, Susan (Len) Emond, Pauline Dickson, Joe Sellors (Linda), Joanne Sellors, Sandra (John) Payne, Michael Sellors (Eileen), Jim Sellors (Mary), Jennifer (Andrew) Paschalis, Christine (Allan) Marsh and Janet (Steve) Brooks. He will also be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends. A celebration of Eric's Life will take place on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 11:00 am, at St. John's United Church, Georgetown. In memory contributions to the Hospital for Sick Kids, World Vision or St. John's United Church would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements, entrusted to the J.S.
