Elsie Muriel Rogerson - Born in Liverpool, England, March 11, 1936
Died in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, on August 27, 2014 (age 78)
After a long illness, Elsie passed away at 1:18 pm on August 27, 2014. Many thanks to the staff at Cawthra Gardens for their constant support, and compassion in helping Elsie and our family cope with her daily challenges.
Loving Wife of Alan Rogerson for over 60 years.
Loving Mother of Barbara ( Mark ), Alan ( Mary ), Julie ( Simon ), Margaret (Doug ), Olwen, Johnpaul ( Chum ), and Gwen ( Josh ).
Loving Grandmother of Jason, Daniel, Alan, Edward, Lance, Michelle, Allison, Gavin, Aneirin, Kenneth, Jennifer, Christy, Melissa, Cassandra, Andrew, Jamy, Sam, Robert, Lara, Daniel and Jessica.
Loving Great Grandmother of August, Alan, Lumen, Devin, Tori , Owen, Liam, Bryton, Kai , Anthony, Dana, Lily, Violet, Kaleb, Andrew, Sophie, Kadence, Emily, Alexander, Michael, and Mika.
Elsie's life was exemplified by her love of family and children. She had a strong sense of self and personal honour which she instilled in all of her children.
Some of her many interests included knitting, baking, sewing, gardening and puzzles.
Central to her life was her faith and fellowship within the Church and Community.
Elsie will be greatly missed by her family, friends and the many people she has touched throughout her life.
In lieu of flowers donations to the St John's United Church or the Salvation Army would be greatly appreciated.
