Burns, Ellen Isabel- Suddenly on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at the Georgetown Hospital. Ellen (nee Palmer), loving wife of 59 years to Donald Burns. Loved mother of Donna and her husband Roy Brown and Larry and his wife Michele. Proud grandmother of Shannon and Bill Bettridge, Caitlin and Mike Cormier, Marcus and Kyle Burns and great-grandmother of Rachel and Julia Bettridge. Dear sister of Lena (Em) Thompson. Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd., north of Maple Ave., Georgetown 905-877-3631 on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, March 29, at 11:00am. Inurnment Greenwood Cemetery, Georgetown. In memory, contributions to Knox Presbyterian Church would be appreciated.
