Elizabeth Jane Klimsiak

It is with great sadness that the family of Elizabeth Klimsiak of Georgetown, ON announce her passing on February 25, 2026, at the age of 77.

Elizabeth’s greatest joys were the love of her husband, Walter, of 55 years and the gift of being a “Mama Bear” to her daughter, Kelly. She was the epitome of resilience, constantly adapting to health challenges that came her way. Elizabeth was happiest when spending time with her family, drinking a warm cup of tea and singing along to an Elvis song.

Elizabeth will be dearly missed by her sister-in-law June (the late Richard), her brother-in-law John (Rosanne), and all of her extended family. She is survived by her twin brother, Thomas, and predeceased by her parents and sister, Martha.

The Klimsiak family gives a heartfelt thanks to the staff of Extendicare Halton Hills for their care and compassion over the past 15 years.

As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Elizabeth's Life will be held in the Trafalgar Room at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown on Saturday, March 7, 2026 from 2-4 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, those who wish to may make a memorial donation to MS Canada.
