1938 - 2015
Peacefully, with family by her side, Elizabeth Anne Foley ("Liz") passed away on October 23, 2015, in Georgetown, Ontario. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her beloved husband John; daughter Ashley (Rob); grandson Max; sisters Barbara (Hugh) - Alberta; Dorothy - British Columbia; Annie - Ontario; Margaret (David) - British Columbia; brother Jim - England; sister-in-law Jan (Al) - Ontario; and many wonderful nieces and nephews including godsons Paul and Carlos.
Born in Blackpool, England on December 24, 1938, Liz arrived in Canada in June 1957. She is best known among her family and friends for her love of Crosswords, copious amounts of knitting and was Coronation Street's number one fan. Liz's ability to string together even the toughest of words into a witty limerick will be missed.
