Elise Durno

August 23, 1993 - October 28, 2025

It is with deep love and sadness to share the passing of Elise Victoria Durno who left us peacefully in the early morning of Tuesday October 28, 2025 at Toronto General Hospital at the age of 32.

She was the beloved daughter to Ken & Sarah Durno and twin sister to Jenny McCoy, as well as sister-in-law to Patrick McCoy. Elise was deeply loved by all of her aunts, uncles & cousins, family and friends in Canada, California and England as well as many friends & staff at her CLNH Day Program.

Her love and devotion to her family and to her community was her great joy of life.

Special thanks would like to be given to the Heart Transplant team, including doctors and nurses of Toronto General Hospital.

A Celebration of Elise's Life will be held on November 22nd from 1-3pm at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 120 on 127 Mill St, Georgetown, ON L7G 2C7.

Donations can be made in Elise's honour to Community Living North Halton. The family would like to thank all the generous staff & individuals supported.
