McGill, Eldon James- Passed away peacefully on Wednesday June 14th, 2017 at the Georgetown Hospital. Eldon in his 74th year, devoted and beloved husband of Karen (nee Moore). Loving father of Bob (Linda), Heather (Tom), Stephen (Michelle) and predeceased by his son Donald. Proud grandfather of Joel, Tristan, Nicholas, Travis, Kendra, Luke and Arianna. Much loved by his sisters Rosalie (Fulton) and Charlotte (Phil). Predeceased by his brothers Carson and Reginald. Loved brother-in-law of Harold (Dorothy). He was a caring and generous man who enjoyed life immensely with his family and friends. Words cannot express our gratitude to the nurses at Georgetown Hospital Continuing Observation Unit, Dr. Djamel Bouazza and Dr. Anthony Farragos whose love, support and care for Eldon was beyond measure. Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd., north of Maple Ave., Georgetown 905-877-3631 on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral and committal service will be held in the chapel on Saturday June 17th at 2:00 pm. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to Epilepsy Canada would be appreciated by the family.
