Edwin Houghton Mitchell

On Friday, September 14th, 2018  (Pastor) Edwin Houghton Mitchell, in his 92nd year, peacefully left this earth into the arms of his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Surrounded by family and while Dorothy (nee Roblin), his wife of 64 years, was holding his hand.  Beloved father of Lee(Barb), Lynne(Kevin), RIck(Vanessa), Ruth(James).  Loved grandpa of Katie, Kyle, Erin, Mike, Kevin, Torie, Shannon, Mitchell, Christopher, Sarah and Clare.  Great grandpa to Hope, Addie, Theo and Ellie.   Visitation will be at Jones Funeral Home,11582 Traflagar Road, Georgetown (905)877-3631 on September 23rd from 1:00-4:00 pm. Funeral service will be at Maple Avenue Baptist Church, 177 Maple Avenue, Georgetown on September 24th at 11:00 am. Refreshments to follow.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Heritage College & Seminary in Cambridge, Ontario would be appreciated.
