Edward Dawsoyar

Edward Dawsoyar, in his 79th year, passed away on July 5th, 2024. Beloved husband of Patricia, loving father of Cindy Grant (Iain Grant), and close friend to brother-in-law Michael Chonko.

Ed was the eldest of his four siblings, (predeceased). Brother to Daniel Dawsayer, Virginia Gosch, and Lorraine Wall. He will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews, Dan Dawsayer, Ryan Bechard, Nick Bechard, Christel Bechard, Jared Gosch, Jennifer Masino, (the late Michael Wall).

Ed will be forever remembered for his good sense of humour, his immense love for life, people and nature, and for being a fun loving, kind and caring person. You would always find him at the cottage swimming, fishing, water skiing, snowmobiling, walking the trails, or taking visitors on his famous tours of the lake. Ed had a passion for playing guitar and singing, which often broke out into sing-a-longs with friends and family. Many good times shared with very special friends Gail and Charlie Ebbett. Edward will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Family and friends will be received in the Trafalgar Room at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown (905) 877-3631 to celebrate Edward's life on Sunday July 21st 2024, from 3-5pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Cancer Assistance Services of Halton Hills, (CASHH), would be greatly appreciated.
