Edward Mario Cachia

It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Edward Mario Cachia, in his 92nd year, on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Martindale Gardens in Milton. We fondly remember him as the master of his fate and the captain of his soul. His creativity in art, magic, woodworking, gardening, cooking and story telling knew no bounds, and lives on in the many treasures that still touch us all.
Ed was the beloved husband of Marie for 70 years. Left to love and remember him forever are his children Tony (Christy), Cathy (Greg), Mark, Myra, Nadine (Pat) and Alex. Ed was the loved Nunnu of Matt (Renee), Paul (Jade), Laura, Max, Rachel, Adrian, Regan and Tom. Ed also leaves behind three great grandchildren, John, Brice and Reilly. Our family wishes to thank the dedicated and caring staff at Martindale Gardens. A private family service will take place, followed by an interment at Greenwood Cemetery, Georgetown. A Celebration of their lives will be held for Ed and Marie at a future date when covid restrictions are lifted. Donations to the Cancer Society in Ed's memory would be appreciated.
