KROEGER, Edmund - "Ed"- Passed away peacefully at Mountainview Residence on January 31, 2014 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of the late Gertrud Kroeger. Loving father of Gerry Kroeger (Debbie) of Huttonville and Ed Kroeger (Zoe) of Georgetown. Proud and loving Opa to Gerrad, Nicolas and Andrew. He will be dearly missed by family and friends throughout Ontario and Germany. A special heartfelt thanks goes to the staff of Mountainview Residence, where he spent the last year of his life, for the exceptional care and dedication to ensuring he was comfortable right to the end. Dr. L. Downey for the thoroughness of his care. Also to Cancer Assistance Services of Halton Hills (CASHH) and all their dedicated volunteers for the exceptional service they provided in helping us through his illness.
