It is with great sadness but with thankfulness for his life, that we announce the passing of Douglas Christensen on Friday February 15th, 2013. Survived by his caring wife Rita and cherished children Richard (Karen), Bernard (Joan), Cathy (Jim) Lepki and Ruth (Terry Hope). Proud and loving grandfather of James Lepki, Kelly, Emily and Shannon Hope. Fondly remembered by Shirley Armillotta and family. Predeceased by his parents Maude and Carl Christensen.
Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd., north of Maple Ave., Georgetown 905-877-3631 on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church (14400 Argyll Rd., Georgetown) on Thursday February 21st, 2013 at 10:00 a.m.
