SARGENT, George Douglas "Doug" (July 24, 1941)
Passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Georgetown Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Dear friend of Millie Pletsch. Dear brother of Don (Gloria) of Caledon, Betty (Gunner Sorensen) of Coboconk, Chris (Deb/Lynn) of Glen Williams and Mike (Pauline) of Hanover. He will be missed also by his many nieces, nephews and friends.
According to Doug's wishes, no visitation or funeral service will be held. Cremation has taken place, to be followed by burial at the Glen Williams Cemetery. In memory, contributions to The Georgetown Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. The family is grateful for the loving care and support Doug received at The Georgetown Hospital.
