Woods, Doris Marjorie (nee McLellan)

Sept. 12th, 1925 – May 12th, 2025

Peacefully at Mountainview Residence, Georgetown, at 99 years of age.

Beloved wife of Douglas Woods, who predeceased her in 1993, after 47 years of marriage.

Loving sister to Muriel Thompson and Wesley McLellan. Cherished aunt of Judy, Connie, Jackie, Steve, Debbie, Gary, Mike, Bette and the late Wendy. Special Great Aunt to 26 nieces and nephews and 2 Great nephews who passed away.

A grateful thanks for the caring and loyalty of Doris’s many dear friends over the past 10 years.

To the nurses of Willow Lane, thank you for your compassionate care of Doris and to Dr. Darling and Dr. Van Bendegem, thank you for her medical care and guidance over many years.

Doris’s family will receive loved ones and friends at the Jones Funeral Home, 1582 Trafalgar Rd, Georgetown, 905-877-3631 Visitation 10:00 -11:00 AM on Saturday, May 31, 2025. A memorial service to follow in the Chapel at 11:00 AM. A reception will be held in the Trafalgar Room after the memorial service, with a burial in Greenwood Cemetery following the reception.
