Shaw, Doreen Eleanor (nee Ferrier) March 3, 1931 - October 22, 2022

Doreen passed away peacefully with her daughter Susan and son in law Robert by her side and was welcomed home by her Lord and Saviour on Saturday evening, October 22, 2022 at Brantford General Hospital, Brantford, Ontario in her 92nd year. Doreen was the daughter of the late Ross and Eileen Ferrier and younger sister of the late Don Ferrier and his late wife Fran. Doreen was predeceased by her beloved husband Irwin Shaw, her loving daughter Deborah Nixon and her late husband Tom. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Susan McClure and her husband Robert, her grandchildren Melissa Richer (Adam), Shawn Nixon (Jen), Ryan McClure (Kassie), Kyle Nixon (Carmen) and Michelle Davies (Reese) and her great grandchildren Eliana, Eden, Luke, and Liam Richer, Blake and Cohen Nixon, Emmeline and Isla McClure, Logan and Lyla Nixon and Kendall, Lincoln and Quinn Davies. She is also fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews and close friends. Friends will be received at Jones Funeral Home (11582 Trafalgar Rd) Georgetown on Thursday November 3, from 1:30 until the time of service in the chapel at 2:30.
