Donald Rehberg

Rehberg, Donald Bruce "Don"- Passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at the age of 74. Beloved husband for 45 years to Helen (nee Porter). Devoted father to Phil (Bonnie) and Tracy Rehberg-Rawlingson (David) and beloved Papa of Michaela and Nicky. He is survived by his brother Gerry (Cathy). Don was steadfast in his faith and was involved in all aspects of the church including council, driving the Keenagers and Sunday morning duties. Don was always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. Don was a meteorologist with Environment Canada for 33 years, retiring early in1997. He enjoyed his retirement by spoiling his grandkids, reading his newspaper, hiking, walking his dog Smokey and spending time in Grand Bend. Don is predeceased by his parents, Edwin and Madeline Rehberg and daughter-in-law Jody Rehberg. Visitation will be held at J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, Georgetown 905-877-3631 on Wednesday, March 4, between 7:00 and 9:00 pm, visitation will also take place at Augsburg Lutheran Church (224 Mill St., S. Brampton) on Thursday, March 5, from 10:00 am until time of celebration of life at 11:00 am. Donations in Don's name can be made to Augsburg Lutheran Church or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
