Donald Joseph Corrigan

Donald Joseph Corrigan, "Joe" Son of Michael Joseph Corrigan and Mary Clair Sheedy. Passed away peacefully at the age of 81, on Tuesday, December 15th, 2015. He is survived by his sister Lola Lalonde, and brothers Bob Corrigan and Glen MacMillan. Predeceased by 3 sisters, and 4 brothers. Joe served 10 years in the Royal Canadian Navy during which time he met and married the love of his life and best friend Peggy Walker, from Glace Bay, NS, on May 19, 1956. Joe was the loving father of David, Colleen, Maureen, Timothy, Eileen, and Donald Corrigan, and to his sons in law, Kerry Allen, and Jed Hoban, and his daughter in law Ronda Corrigan. He was also the very loving and always entertaining Poppa to 12 grandchildren, Aaron, Meagan, Ryan, Kerry Jr, Joseph, John, Emily, James, Jennifer, Matthew, Timothy and Kelly. In lieu of flowers please send a heartfelt donation to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation. Memorial Mass to celebrate this great man's life will be held on Monday, December 21st at 11am, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 14400 Argyll Rd. Georgetown Ont. Reception to follow in church hall.
