Derek Charles Thibault

Thibault, Derek Charles – Suddenly, on Monday July 21, 2025 at his home in Acton. Derek, 60 years of age, beloved husband of Deborah for 28 years. Loved son of Audrey Thibault and the late Charles Thibault (2019) and son-in-law of Anne Stam and the late Pieter Stam (1993). Loved brother-in-law of Peter (Debbie) and Audrey (Joe). Dear uncle of Alex, Nicole, Steven (Sarah) and Stephanie (Tommy) and their families. Dear friend of Ed and Paulette and their children Ryan Andrews, Kristin Andrews, and Les Andrews (friend). Derek enjoyed Sea-Doo’ing, boating and working out at the gym. Derek and Deborah fostered dogs for animal rescue for many years, and firmly believe that a house isn’t a home without dogs and cats. The family will forever remember Derek for his love of animals and his “off the wall sense of humor” as he loved to make people laugh. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Derek’s Life will take place at a later date. Memorial contributions to Animal Rescue Network of Ontario (ANML-RESQ) would be greatly appreciated.
