Deborah Bonk

Bonk, Deborah “Deb” Marguerite – after a lengthy illness, passed peacefully at her home in Erin on Friday June 9, 2023. Deb, in her 70th year, beloved wife and best friend of David for 46 years. Loving mother of Ashleigh (Brian) Acheson, Courtney (Andrew) Greggain and Mitchell (Kelsey) Bonk. Loved Grandma Deb of Lewis and Pearl. Dear sister of the late Laurie Nicholl. Dear sister-in-law of Jim Bonk and Paul Bonk (Suzy Sobel). Dear aunt of Cassidy, Jeremy, Maya, Sarah and Adrienne. Deb will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her best friend Ruth Sorley. Deb loved her family, her horses; Bella, Sassy and Loki and her dog, Luna. Deb also enjoyed laying on the beach in Mexico and a good Margarita.

Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown (905) 877-3631 on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. A Celebration of Deb’s Life will be held in the chapel on Wednesday June 14th, 2023 at 11 a.m. Reception to follow in the Trafalgar Room.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Upper Credit Humane Society or the East Wellington Community Centre would be appreciated.
