Debbie Marie Morton (née Mandziak) – Passed away surrounded by the love of her family, on Sunday March 1, 2026, at the Georgetown Hospital, at the age of 72 years.
Debbie was the beloved wife of William Trask Morton, sharing a life filled with devotion, laughter, and cherished memories. She was a loving sister to the late Ronald, the late Sharon, Dona (Bob), Jackie, and Joannie, and a proud and caring aunt to David (Jane), Jim, Michael (Arla), Selena (Adam), Nadine, Kirk (Magda), Sandra (Neil), Ronald John, Jonathan, and Jordan. She was also a treasured great-aunt to many nieces and nephews, all of whom brought her immense joy.
Debbie was known for her deep love of gardening, especially at the family cottage in Honey Harbour, where she spent many happy years surrounded by nature. She embraced every season there — enjoying cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter, and tending to her gardens in the warmer months.
She and her husband Bill shared a love of bowling and treasured the time they spent together pursuing this pastime. Debbie was a devoted member of Our Lady of Mercy in Honey Harbour and Holy Cross in Georgetown, where her faith was a guiding light in her life.
Above all, Debbie cherished her large family. She found her greatest happiness in family gatherings, celebrations, and the simple joy of being together. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Debbie’s legacy lives on in the hearts of her husband, family, and friends, who will forever hold her memory close.
