RANSOM, James David -  It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of J. David Ransom, 82, of Meaford, ON, on Sunday, June 25, 2017, surrounded by his loving family at Grey Bruce Hospital, Owen Sound, ON. Beloved husband of June Ransom for 63 years. Loving father to Debbie Armstrong (Georgetown), John Ransom (Janet) (Georgetown), Brian Ransom (Brenda) (Orangeville), Karen Wainwright (Tom) (Erin), and Judy Ransom (Orangeville). Proud grandfather to six grandchildren and great-grandfather to 11 great- grandchildren. "We will always remember that special smile, that caring heart, that warm embrace, you always gave us. You being there for Mom and us, through good and bad times, no matter what. We will always remember you Dad because there'll never be another one to replace you in our hearts and the love we will always have for you. The song has ended, but the melody lingers on." Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd., Georgetown on Thursday, July 6, 2017 from 5:00- 7:00 p.m. for viewing, service will be follow at 7:00 p.m. and refreshments after the service from 8:00-9:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place.
