David Harold Nowell

NOWELL, David Harold (Resident of Georgetown, Ontario) Peacefully and surrounded by his loving family, he went to be with his Lord and Saviour, Thursday evening November 26, 2015 in his 74th year. Beloved husband of 51 years to Doreen Nowell (Predeceased). Loving father of Pamela (Shane Lowin), Natalie (Rick Borges) and Melonie. Cherished grandfather of Jordan, Luke, Jacob and Faith. Predeceased by his parents Harold Nowell and Dorothy (nee Earles). Dear brother of Ruth (Dave Raywood) and John (Gail Nowell). Brother in law to Kenneth (Joan Boldt - deceased), Barbara & Bruce Bentley (deceased) and Patricia Field. Fondly remembered by all his nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was a self employed, hard worker and proud owner of Clayhill Renovations. He was an active member of Maple Avenue Baptist Church, and to his family he was a devoted and loving husband, father and provider. He was a man of God and instilled in his children and grandchildren, the love of Jesus. He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all who knew him.
Friends and family will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, North of Maple Ave., Georgetown on Tuesday December 1, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held at Maple Avenue Baptist Church (177 Maple Ave. Georgetown) on Wednesday December 2, 2015 at 11:00 am. Interment Glen Oaks Memorial Gardens, Oakville. As expressions of sympathy, donations can be made to Compassion of Canada and The Samaritan's Purse.
