MCKAY, David - Passed away peacefully on Monday, February 24, 2014 at Georgetown Hospital in his 80th year. David, loving husband of 56 years to Doreen Nash McKay (nee Brand). Dear father of Alison (Paul Docherty), Susan (Lloyd Cockburn) and Linda (David Scullion). David will be forever kept in the hearts of his grandchildren Katie (Andrew), Jennifer, Steven (Stephanie), Victoria, Keith and Gary. Dearest brother of Bill. David is predeceased by his parents Michael and Janet McKay, and by his siblings Janet and John. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Centre (11582 Trafalgar Rd., north of Maple Ave.), Georgetown, Ontario, with visitation taking place one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Brampton Civic Hospital - Oncology Department or to the charity of the donor's choice.
