Howe, David Hopkins - We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Dave on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at the Hamilton General Hospital. Dave, beloved husband of Shirley. Loving father of Andrea Howe, Robert Howe (Izabela), and Heather Judge (Darryl). He will be forever cherished in the hearts of his grandchildren Owen and Ryder Schwieg, Justin and John Howe, Nolan and Wade Judge. Brother of Cynthia Howe. Dave had a successful career in advertising that spanned several decades before retiring to the family cottage. In his early years, Dave could be found waterskiing on Davis Lake or playing hockey with his friends in the city. After retirement, he spent many days making margaritas for friends and family, swimming and enjoying the sunshine at the cottage and in Florida. There was always music when Dave was around - he truly did make our lives joyful. Visitation will be held at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown, on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 2:00 p.m., followed by a Funeral Service and Reception at 3:00 p.m. Memorial contributions in Dave's memory may be directed to the Alzheimers Society of Canada.
