David John Fennell

Fennell, David  1955-2024

It is with great sadness that the family of David Fennell announce his sudden passing on Thursday January 25, 2024 at the Georgetown Hospital with his loving wife, son and brother at his side.

David was a proud retired Toronto Police Officer with 35 years of service. An active member of the Rameses Shriners, also the True Blue Mason Lodge of Bolton and the Central Park Baseball Association in Brampton.

David is predeceased by his parents Evelyn (nee Taylor) and John Fennell. Survived by his wife Janice and son John, brothers Richard and Allan and his wife Natasa and step children Jennifer & Kevin Usher and Nicole & Pete Mashinter. Adored "D" to his cherished grandchildren Brandon, Tristan, Clive, Rex and Lanny. David was the loving uncle to Jennifer, Jinaha, Vanessa and Mallory. Great niece and nephew Claire and Bryce.

Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown (905)877-3631 on Monday from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the chapel Tuesday January 30th at 11:00 am. Cremation to follow.
