Dave Leslie

Leslie, David Hyatt Hugh "Dave" (Full-time Firefighter/Operator for the Markham Fire Department for the past 28 years and 14 years as a volunteer for the Halton Hills Fire Department) - Peacefully, on Friday July 1, 2022 at the Huntsville Hospital. Dave passed away surrounded by loved ones. Dave, in his 57th year, beloved father of Keanna and Tristen. Dear brother of Lynda (Doug) Swackhamer, Shari-Lou (Don) Kerr and the late Susan Leslie. Also, predeceased by his parents Eloise and Hugh Leslie. Dave will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by Marilyn Hui, Peggy (Greg) Reaume, many nephews, friends and colleagues. Dave will be forever remembered for his wonderful sense of humor, living life to its fullest, riding his motorcycle, boating, basketball, flying planes, playing and coaching hockey. A visitation will be held at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown on Saturday July 16, 2022 from 2 p.m.- 3 p.m. A celebration of Dave's life will be held in the chapel at 3 p.m. Reception to follow in the Trafalgar Room. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Canadian Liver Foundation or the Global Animal Foundation would be appreciated.
