Entered rest suddenly, on Monday, November 10, 2025, at the Georgetown Hospital, in his 55th year. Beloved husband of Lisa for 28 years and loving devoted father of Mikhayla and Abigail. Cherished son of Janice and Robert Stead of Australia, and cherished son-in-law of Alice and Nolan Jacques of Mississauga. Dear brother of Adrian (Agnese) and Julie, and brother-in-law of Klinton, Ben (Tawnya), and Andrew (Soleil). Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews: Tim, Kimmy, Ollie, Chloe, Caleb, Callum, Naomi, and Alistair

We will all miss the special and genuine love that Darren chose to share with all around him. He loved all and wanted each person he met in his life to know how much he appreciated and loved them.

Family and friends will be received at Living Hope Church, 290 Main Street South, Georgetown, on Sunday, November 16, 2025, from 5:00–8:00 p.m.

A Funeral Service will be held at the church on Monday, November 17, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., followed by a reception in the church hall. Cremation.

The service will be livestreamed at https://livinghopechurch.ca at 11:00 a.m. EST and 2:30 a.m., Adelaide, Australian time. The recording will remain available for later viewing for those in different time zones.
