Darrell Derwin Borden

Borden, Darrell Derwin - It is with great sadness that we announce that Darrell was involved in a tragic car accident on January 8, 2016 in his 43rd year. Beloved husband and best friend of Tammy (nee Camilleri), Darrell will be cherished forever in the hearts of his girls Danielle and Selena Borden. Much loved son of Emily (nee Dorrington) and the late Norman Borden (d.1980), and dear brother of Lawrence Borden, Rita Borden, George Borden, Norman (Nin) Borden, Wayne Borden, Ricky (wife Thelma) Borden, Blair (wife Lisa) Borden, Anthony Borden and Predeceased by his siblings Bernie Jordan (d.2010), Paul Borden (d.1999), Beverly Borden (d.1987) and Peggy Borden (d.2002). Darrell was the son-in-law of Carmen and Charlie (d.2004) Camilleri and brother-in-law to Chris and Ornella Camilleri. He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at J.S. Jones and Son Funeral Home, 11592 Trafalgar Road, north of Maple Avenue, Georgetown (905) 877-3631 on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 14400 Argyll Road, Georgetown, at 10:00 a.m. Interment Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
