Daphne Rolfe

d. March 26, 2014

ROLFE, Daphne - It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved
mom, Daphne. Wife of the late Robert (2010); She was a very proud mother of twins Ashley
(Jane) Rolfe and Gaynor (Brian Taggart). She was also equally proud to be a grandmother of
Ashley and Jane's twins Megan (Imay) and Rebecca, and Gaynor and Brian's children Susan (Dave),
Kelly (the late Richard), Jarrod (Christine) and Fawne (Ryan). Daphne was ecstatic to be a great
grandmother to Mason, Kaden, and Maisha Taggart, Stone and Gage Breedon, and Wynter
Taggart. Beloved sister of Ivor (Betty) of England, Daphne is predeceased by her siblings John,
Peter and Colin. Daphne volunteered at the Bennett Center and Extendicare and received an
award from the Red Cross for 50 years of voluntary service. A Funeral Service will be held on
Saturday, April 5, 2014 at St. George's Anglican Church, 60 Guelph Street, Georgetown,
Ontario, at 2:00 p.m. Memorial contributions in Daphne's name may be made to Cancer
Assistance Services of Halton Hills. You could not know Daphne and not remember her. Her
zest for life was indomitable, her sense of humour contagious. Daphne's spirit was a beacon to
all who knew her. Life does go on, but it will never be the same without you. We will love you
forever. To send expressions of sympathy please visit www.jsjonesandsonfuneralhome.com
