Daniel Timothy Vince 1952 – 2025

Daniel Timothy Vince passed away peacefully at Oakville Trafalgar Hospital on December 12, 2025, with his loving wife by his side. After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Daniel showed unwavering strength and determination until the very end.

At the age of 73, Daniel was the devoted and beloved husband of Victoria for 51 wonderful years. He was a proud and loving father to Patricia (Dennis) Pettibone and Stacey (Josh) Horney, and a cherished Grandpa to Jocelyn and Shane, of whom he was immensely proud.

Daniel was a dear brother to Paul (Rosa) of Medicine Hat and Scott of Parry Sound, and was predeceased by his brothers David, Peter, Bill, and Joe. He will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by his many nieces and nephews.

A skilled and passionate woodworker, Daniel’s craftsmanship shone through his fine cabinetry, intricate scroll-saw creations, and the toys he lovingly made for others. Woodworking brought him great joy and was a true reflection of his patience, creativity, and care.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Daniel’s Life will be held in the new year, with details to be announced.

Daniel will be remembered for his quiet strength, kind heart, and unwavering generosity. Though he carried a gruff demeanor, those who knew him well understood it was paired with deep compassion, loyalty, and a readiness to help others whenever needed. His love was steady and sincere, and it will be felt always by those fortunate enough to have known him.
