Daniel Edwin Huntley

Daniel Edwin Huntley – Passed away suddenly on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at his Georgetown residence. Born to the late Joseph and Mary Huntley of Ingersoll, Daniel was a cherished brother survived by Aubrey (Darlene), Douglas, Colin, Lyle (Marge), and Beth Huntley. He was a loving uncle to James (Michelle) and Ryan (Justyna) and a great uncle to Harrison and Joseph. Daniel's life was preceded in death by his brother Lorne.

A devoted employee for 35 years at the Bishop Strachan School, Daniel's absence will be deeply felt by his work family. He leaves behind a legacy of commitment and kindness that will be cherished by all who knew him.

In accordance with Daniel’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial gathering to honor his life will take place at a later date in Ingersoll, Ontario.

Daniel's presence illuminated the lives of many, and his impact will endure in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. He embraced life's sunrise and dedicated himself to nurturing the world around him. In the words of Captain Kirk, 'Of my friend, I can only say this: of all the souls I have encountered in my travels, his was the most... human.'"
