Daniel Connell

Daniel (Dan) Connell, weeks shy of his 83rd birthday, of Glen Williams, Ontario, passed away on January 22, 2016, at 4:55 p.m. in Toronto. Family and friends will be received on January 28 as of 1 p.m. for funeral service at 2 p.m. at the Parish of St. Alban's Anglican Church, 537 Main Street, Glen Williams. Reception to follow immediately at the Parish hall. Dan was born in County Galway, Ireland, to Margaret and Joseph Connell. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Dorothy Connell (nee Forbes) of Glen Williams, three children Maurice, David (fiancee Cherie), and Suzanne (Steve) Robinson, and grandchildren Brianna and Nieve Robinson, brothers Anthony, John, Leo, Noel, William and sister Mary. Dan is predeceased by his parents and brother Kevin. Memorial donations may be made to the University Health Network or Halton Canadian Cancer Society. In particular, the family wishes to extend gratitude to the Wharton Head and Neck Clinic at Princess Margaret, the Peter Munk Cardiac Centre at Toronto General, and the Wheels of Hope service at Halton Canadian Cancer Society.
