TOST, (Earl) Dale It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Dale - a kind, loving and tremendously giving husband, father, Poppa, father-in-law and cherished friend. Dale will be missed by his family and dear friends for his generous spirit and sense of humour. He leaves behind his devoted and loving wife of 58 years, Christine, who will miss her love and best friend; daughters Kathy and Brenda, for whom his devotion, loyalty and attention knew no bounds; treasured granddaughters, Alisa and Chloe, who considered him as much a father as a Poppa - he made it an evening priority to blow them kisses goodnight when they were growing up - a tradition that continued to his final days; and admired son-in-law, Jeff Wood, with whom he throughly enjoyed working on home and cottage projects. We know his adventurous spirit has him riding his Harley flat out into his next adventure!
A celebration of Dale's life will take place in Georgetown at J.S. Jones Funeral Home on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2016. Visitation at 10:00am and service at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations to the Mark Preece Family Home (Hamilton, ON) and/or the Bethell Hospice (Inglewood, ON) be made in Dale's memory.
