Balson, Connie (nee Portelli) - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Connie Balson on Sunday February 8, 2015 peacefully at the Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga. Connie was predeceased by her devoted and loving husband Joe (2013). Loving mother of Kim Litwiller, Stacey Donaldson and Joey Balson. Proud Grandy (Grand Lady) of Stephen, (Marianne), Shayne (Alicia), Shelden, Sydney, Gesse, Jake and Rebecca. Sadly missed by her loyal puppy Maggie. Connie was born in Tarxien, Malta and came to Canada at the age of 8. Dear sister of Chuck, Mary and Jessie. Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, north of Maple Avenue, Georgetown (905) 877-3631 on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday February 13, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow in the Trafalgar Room.
