Charlotte Lenore (nee Lyons) Alexander, R.N. 1914-2016- It is with great sadness that the family of Charlotte Alexander announces her peaceful passing at Brampton Civic Hospital on Thursday September 8, 2016 in her 102nd year. During her many years of nursing, she nursed at Sunnybrook Hospital, Scarborough General Hospital and did private nursing as well. Beloved wife of the late Anthony (Tony) Alexander and also predeceased by her sisters Mrs. Elinor Campbell, Mrs. Elizabeth McIntosh, Mrs. Mary McKinney, Mrs. Lucile Barrett and Mrs. Kathleen Lawson. She is also predeceased by her brothers Hugo, Frank and James Lyons. She is also lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd., north of Maple Ave., on Wednesday September 14th from 10:00 am until time of funeral service held in the chapel at 11:00 am.
