Born on September 1, 1923 in Oxford, England, Charlie passed away suddenly but peacefully on November 16, 2013 in Georgetown, Ontario. Predeceased by his beloved wife Beryl (nee Andrews) and his son John Diamond. He will be deeply missed by his daughter Susan Box and her husband Richard. Proud grandfather of Dr. Phaedra Diamond (Dr. Chris McColl), Taylor (Katrina) Box, Jordan Box and Mckenzie Box (Mike Alaimo). Survived by his sister Peggy (Arthur) Rose and her daughter Sandra (Ashley) Browning of Hampshire England. Charlie is also survived by his wife's siblings Jackie Debeneadto, Pauline Arnold (Brian) and Pat Bell (Barry). Brother-in-law of June Morelli (Henry), Ronnie Andrews (Lil) and Michael Andrews (Patty) all deceased. Charlie was a wonderful, fun loving, husband, father, and grandfather and a real gentleman. He will be fondly remembered for his great sense of humour by his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and his many friends and neighbours at the Durham Street Apartments. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd., Georgetown (905) 877-3631 on Saturday December 7, 2013 from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. A memorial service will follow in the chapel at 12:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place.
