Peacefully on Saturday July 6, 2013 in Georgetown. Charles, in his 90th year, husband of the late Cecilia (nee Micallef). Loving father of Christine and her husband Bob De Vries, Maria and her husband John Cook, and Michael and predeceased by his son Charles Jr. and his daughter Katherine. Proud grandfather of Lorin (Tania), Arlen (Jennifer), Simon (Naomi), Oliver and Julian and great-grandfather of Amina, Tobias, Athena and Damien. Charles will be sadly missed by his true friend and companion Edith Klee and her family. Fondly remembered by his brothers and sisters and many friends.
Family and friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, north of Maple Ave., Georgetown, (905 )877-3631 on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Parish prayers on Friday at 3:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church (14400 Argyll Road, Georgetown) on Saturday July 13, 2013 at 10:00 am. Cremation at a later date.
