Cecilia Viola Reid

REID, Cecilia Mary Viola nee Chartrand - peacefully at the Bennett Health Care Centre, Georgetown on Sunday December 25th, 2016. Cecilia, in her 98th year, will be lovingly remembered by her children Carol Bryan (Bob), Patricia Bennett (Michael) and Jim Reid (Shelley and Shelley's daughter Charmaine). She will also be remembered by her loving niece Jane Reid, her husband Jim and her daughter Lisa. A WWII veteran in the Canadian Women's Army Corp., Cecilia was a lifetime member of the Royal Canadian Legion and proud to be involved with the Women's Auxiliary. Many thanks to everyone at the Bennett Health Care Centre for all of their care and compassion. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of Cecilia's life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion - Branch 120, 127 Mill Street, Georgetown, Ontario, upstairs in the Banquet Hall, on Saturday, February 4th, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. If you wish to do so, Memorial Contributions to the Royal Canadian Legion - Branch 120 would be greatly appreciated in Cecilia's honour.
