Cayla Banton

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Cayla Jacqueline Banton. Suddenly, on Wednesday May 22, 2024 at her home in Mississauga at the young age of 35. Beloved daughter of Norm Banton and the late Angela Banton (2023). Loved sister of Cody (Ashley) Banton. Loving and cherished Titi of Taylor and Dane Banton. Loved sister Sera (Keiko) Sheppard. Adored granddaughter of Evelyn (the late Bruce) Banton and the loved niece of the late Dave Banton. Cherished granddaughter of the late Eddie Prokop and the late Marlene (Jerry) Lannan. Treasured niece of Mike (Patricia) Prokop and dear cousin of Jacqueline.

Cayla loved to cheer for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Dallas Cowboys and her favorite soccer team France. She had a passion for cooking and couldn't wait to host family events. Cayla will be forever remembered by her family for her love of children and her career as a Registered Early Childhood Educator.

Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown (905) 877-3631 on Friday from 5-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday June 1, 2024 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
