Catherine Michelle Kausch

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Catherine Michelle Kausch. After a long battle with cancer, Catherine passed away at 52 years of age, on Thursday, June 14, 2018, surrounded by her family. Catherine leaves behind beloved husband of 13 years Peter Schmuki. Loving mother to Ashley den Engelsman and Samantha den Engelsman (Derrick), and children Mandie Schmuki and David (Nikita) Schmuki. Cherished grandmother to Max, Teighan, Emma, Lars and Willow. Forever treasured by her parents Arnold and Patricia Kausch. Dear sister of Christine (Kyle) Wheeler and nephew Devan. Catherine will also be sadly missed by extended family, friends, aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, north of Maple Ave., Georgetown (905)877-3631 on Monday, June 18, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, June 19 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation. In memory contributions in Catherine's name may be made to St. Michaels Hospital or to the charity of the donor's choice.
