Lane, Carolyn Rose - Peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday August 21st, 2016 at the Georgetown Hospital. Carolyn (nee Hancock), in her 74th year, beloved wife of Gordon Lane for 52 years. Loving mother of Debbie Hole (Brinley) and Christina Raymond (Donnie). Proud grandmother of Patrick, Amanda, Brittany, Kendra and Lillee. Dear sister of Marjory Lane (George) and sister in law of Don and Colleen Lane, Stan Crocker, Winston Campbell, Joanne Hancock and Kevin Cummings. Predeceased by her brother Steve Hancock, sister Dorothy Cummings, brother in law William (Marlene) Lane and sisters in law Cecilia Crocker and Alice Campbell. Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown (905)877-3631 on Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9 pm. Funeral mass will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 14400 Argyll Road, Georgetown on Thursday August 25th at 10:00 am. Cremation to follow.
