Lawrence, Carol Ann (nee Axworthy) - Peacefully after a courageous five year battle with cancer on Thursday, February 11th, 2016 at the Milton District Hospital. Carol, in her 73rd year, beloved wife of Bill for 49 years. Loving mother of Heather and her husband Benjamin Reid and David and his wife Lori. Proud and loving grandma of Andrew and Ella. Dear sister of Alan and his wife Gail and sister-in-law of Mary and her husband Paul Hansen. Predeceased by her parents Mabel and George Axworthy and brother-in-law Nelson Lawrence. Family and friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd., north of Maple Ave., Georgetown 905-877-3631 on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church (116 Main Street S., Georgetown) on Wednesday, February 17th, 2016 at 11:00 am. Interment Spring Creek Cemetery, Mississauga.
