Carol Anne Heffler

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carol Anne Heffler (Brown). A cancer survivor, Carol passed peacefully on March 9th, 2024 surrounded by her family after a long battle with heart disease and COPD.

Carol is survived by her daughter Alana and son-in-law Claudio De Stefano. She was a loving Nana to Claudia (Adrian), Matteo (Annelise), and Sabrina. Proud Gigi to Leonardo, Luca, and Dante. Sister to Marie

(Hinson) and Ray (Sherry). She had a special place in her heart for her cats Marty and Holly.

She had great loyalty and a deep love for her family, and was a constant in the lives of her grandchildren, whom she adored. She will be remembered for her strength, generosity and caring heart, sense of humour, outspoken nature, and love of animals. Cherished memories will forever include holiday traditions, laughing together, and sharing life’s moments, big and small. Meeting and spending time with her great-grandchildren was one of her greatest joys. She will be deeply missed by her family and those who were close to her.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Carol's life will be held at the Jones Funeral Home, Georgetown, on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 1:00 p.m., followed by a time of visitation with the family until 4:00 p.m.

The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Megan Daly and nurse Kristen from Georgetown Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Upper Credit Humane Society would be appreciated.
